About DataEngineered
Ten curated, provenance-tracked datasets built from open public sources, sold as downloadable snapshots with a complete free sample for each.
What it is
DataEngineered designs and maintains structured, relational datasets across ten consumer and technical verticals: cosmetics ingredients, specialty coffee, supplements, houseplants, automotive diagnostics, fine spirits, product recalls, fine wine, appliance error codes and clinical-stage drug assets. Every record is traceable to a documented public source. The catalog and the free samples are on the home page.
Three rules apply to every dataset. No fabrication: nothing is generated from a model's memory or estimated to fill a gap. NULL over guess: when a source has no value, the column is empty rather than inferred. Provenance per row: each record carries the source name, endpoint or URL, and collection timestamp it came from, so any value can be re-verified against the original.
Who
DataEngineered is run by the DataEngineered Team, based in France. The team builds the ingestion pipelines, authors the enrichment layers (ranked repairs, canonical name maps, safety layers, catalyst calendars) and maintains the delivery infrastructure. Each dataset has its own public GitHub organisation holding the free sample, documentation and data dictionary:
- MechanicDB · INCIDB · RoasterDB · SuppDB · FloraaDB
- WhiskyyDB (WhiskyDB and WineDB) · RecallDB-public · ApplianceDB · CSA-pub
How to reach us
General questions, licensing and custom work: team@dataengineered.io. Anything about a purchase, a download or a data correction: support@dataengineered.io. Every product site also has a contact form that lands in the same inbox, and the enterprise quote form on the home page reaches the team directly. We reply within one business day.
Refunds
No refunds. Every dataset ships a complete free sample with the identical schema so you can validate before buying; if a download fails, write to support and we deliver by hand. The full statement is on the refund policy page; licence terms are on the terms page.
